Veronica Nagle recently graduated from the College of William and Mary with a bachelor of science degree in biology. She is currently applying to graduate schools to pursue a degree in molecular biology or pharmacology. Within the Laboratory of Skin Biology, Ms. Nagle is characterizing the homeobox transcription factor DLX3’s role in epidermal differentiation by studying its signaling networks. She is also collaborating with Stuart H. Yuspa, M.D., within the Laboratory of Cancer Biology and Genetics at the National Cancer Institute to determine DLX3’s impact on epidermal tumor development.
