Summary

Elizabeth Elliott is the NIAMS Ethics Coordinator. In this role, she supports the NIAMS Deputy Ethics Counselor in developing and managing a comprehensive ethics program for the Institute. The ethics program works to prevent financial conflicts of interest to help ensure that government decisions are made free from personal financial bias. Elizabeth helps to ensure that NIAMS fosters and retains high ethical standards for employees which helps to strengthen the public’s confidence that the Government’s business is conducted with impartiality and integrity.

Programmatic activities that she helps to oversee include: advising and assisting employees on the application of ethics laws, regulations, and policies; overseeing ethics training and the financial disclosure reporting requirements; and review of a wide range of employee requests and activities to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
