Summary
Jasmine Meltzer graduated from Clemson University in South Carolina with a degree in biological sciences. As a postbac fellow in the Brownell lab at NIAMS, she studies the pathogenesis of and novel treatments for Merkel cell carcinoma, a rare and aggressive neuroendocrine skin cancer. Jasmine is passionate about biomedical research and is planning to pursue a degree in medicine after her fellowship. Outside of the lab, Jasmine enjoys hiking and reading.
