Summary

LCDR Michael Davis obtained a Baccalaureate of Science in Biology from Furman University. After serving as a U.S. Army intelligence officer, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. Since that time, he has worked as a nurse practitioner in cardiology, interventional neuroradiology and cardiology, vascular surgery, rheumatology, and nephrology. He has been an employee of the NIH since 2011 and has served as consultant as well as associate investigator. He is a dedicated member of the Lupus Clinical Research Program and is active in developing and conducting clinical trials. Concomitantly, he has served as an officer in the United States Public Health Service Corps since 2013.
