Michelle joined the Pediatric Translational Research Branch as a research nurse specialist in 2017. She graduated from Bowie State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Michelle has worked in the research field since 2009 on numerous research protocols that include patients and healthy volunteers. She now works in the Translational Genetics and Genomics Section as an associate investigator on several clinical trials at the NIH. She ensures that protocols are implemented and followed out per established guidelines.
