Tess is a member of the 2016-17 Medical Research Scholars Program and a rising third year at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. Through the MRSP, she is studying transcriptional changes associated with atopic inflammation in skin under the joint mentorship of Chris Nagao and Heidi Kong.
